Known as the founder of French Impressionist painting, Oscar-Claude Monet is remembered for expressing one's perceptions before nature. He favored documenting the French countryside throughout all of his paintings in particular.
Some of his most famous works include The Water Lily Pond, Poppies, Beach in Pourville, and Bain a' la Grenouille're.
Although he died in 1926, his artwork still lives on today.
