Painter Auguste Renoir was known for being one of the founders of the famous French Impressionist era. After becoming seasoned in Impressionist painting, Renoir later moved on to be a part of the Italian Renaissance era.
Renoir was most remembered for his detailed and various use of colors. He merged objects onto his paintings as if they were floating in his consciousness, and he so effortlessly moved those objects onto his canvases. He was also remembered for his portrait paintings, mostly of women.
His most notable works include The Theater Box, The Swing, Two Sisters, and Girls at the Piano.
